Shake off your aprons, get out the wooden spoon and mixing bowl! We want your help! This is going to be FUN! Our annual PA Bake Sale is happening Friday, January 25th, 2019!

Every year this has been a wonderful and successful event where we all come together to celebrate our school and share delicious baked goods made by our community. The emphasis is on striking a balance between the savory and sweet and incorporating wholesome, organic, and nutritious ingredients into delicious treats.

STUDENT BAKING CONTEST

We are also introducing a WNS Student Baking Contest as a new addition to the Bake Sale this year, with items to be judged just before the bake sale begins and sold alongside other items. The contest is open to students from 1st to 6th Grade.

For those that would like to participate, each contest group is invited to bake the following categories, with the winning criteria being overall appearance, flavor and texture:

1st and 2nd Grade – cookies
3rd and 4th Grade – muffins or loafs
5th and 6th Grade – cake or cup cakes

Judging on Friday, January 25th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm followed by items being sold at the bake sale.

To keep things fair among all, students should do the baking––not parents. Parents should only provide oversight and guidance. Thank you!
