The WNS PA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is pleased to announce the forthcoming Parent Race and Equity Workshops led by Dr. Blanca Ruiz-Williams from the Center for Racial Justice in Education. A Brooklyn native and Georgetown University graduate, Dr. Ruiz-Williams is an on-site trainer specializing in anti-racism and racial consciousness for teachers, leaders, and parents.
The workshops will encourage WNS parents and staff to cultivate a community of dialogue, self-reflection, and self-awareness around issues of race, identity, and inclusion. We welcome all parents and staff to attend these informative workshops.
This is a 4-part series that will take place from 6:30-8:30 pm on October 22nd, November 20th, December 17th, and January 15th at the PK-8 Campus. Space is limited. Beverages and snacks will be served. Childcare is available on-site with pizza for the kids.
